ABOUT PRETTY BAKED

I originally began as 'Cathie's cupcakes' in 2010. I started with simple cupcakes for my children and a fear of icing bigger cakes. I eventually got over this fear and have enjoyed teaching myself new techniques and finding my own unique style.

All my cakes are baked fresh using as many local and organic ingredients as possible for optimum flavour and quality. The majority of fillings, sauces etc are also made from scratch. You cant beat home cooked - it tastes better, usually has less sugar and misses out all the nasty weird additives!

I take time making all decorations by hand, sketching and hand painting pieces, making each order unique and special.

I welcome and particularly enjoy the strange, the gory, quirky, painted sketched pieces of art on cakes. I can do the more 'normal' cakes too of course!

 'Pretty Baked' is entirely run by myself. I do my best to respond to inquiries as quickly as I can and accommodate every person as best I can, to create a product I'm proud of, whilst keeping the price competitive and reasonable. Prices vary depending on the intricacy of decoration, flavour and overall design. Many, many hours can go into creating that special cake :)

You can feel reassured that I also hold a 5* Eat Safe food rating and certificates in food safety, hygiene and food allergies. and intolerance.
